Not many people get to say they’re working in their dream career. Michael Wallace can, after finally achieving what he’d set out to accomplish nearly two decades ago. In October 2006, Michael was hired by The Miami Herald to cover the Miami Heat and the NBA. Four years later, when LeBron James famously took his talents to South Beach, Michael was tapped by ESPN to chronicle James and the NBA on a global, multimedia level. Now Michael's own talents have taken him to the Grind City in 2016, where he is an Editor/Contributor/Analyst for the Memphis Grizzlies' Grind City Media.

The journey has been a blessing, but now is not the time to stop learning and growing. It is time to share the knowledge with others coming up in the industry. Check out the Campus Connections page for a list of school visits Michael has made over the years, and contact him to schedule a visit to your high school or university.

“NOT ONLY DID HE SEEM CERTAIN THAT JOURNALISM WAS THE CAREER FOR HIM, BUT HE ALSO BELIEVED -- AND STILL DOES -- THAT HE HAD SOMETHING SPECIAL TO OFFER THE PROFESSION.”
